Confusing Words > homework and housework

HOMEWORK AND HOUSEWORK
HOMEWORK – work set by teachers for students to do at home

Examples:

She told her teacher she hadn’t done her homework.

Lately I have been helping him with his homework.

I got home and the first thing I did was my homework.

I left my homework at the reception desk in the (school) office.
