HAPPY OR LUCKY happy = feeling, showing or causing pleasure or satisfaction
Examples:
Your parents are not going to be very happy when they see the mess you've made!
Dave seems a lot happier since he met Cindy.
I don't feel happy about it.
lucky = having good things happen to you by chance
Examples:
Steve's lucky that he wasn't fired.
They were lucky things didn't turn out worse.
Note: Happiness is an emotion. Luck is an external factor that you cannot influence.
